Item failed to work right out of the box

I brought it home and followed the directions for setting it up. The remote initially powered up, but failed to function, I noticed that the batteries started to over heat and replaced them with fresh ones. This had the same result. I returned this remote and purchased the Microsoft version.

Great Xbox One remote

For starters, the buttons are really well laid out. It also has a backlight, which makes it USABLE at night!. The full QWERTY keyboard on the back is a nice touch. You can't use they keyboard for everything, sadly, but when you can it's great!

Poor Quality!!

When it falls on the ground the batteries and back come off. The back tabs break. Also one of the reasons I had to return it was it just stopped working. I wouldn't spend the money for this remote.

Great price and saves me time

Game controllers weren't designed to type in passwords and if you use your Xbox for more than just video games buy the insignia remote. Trust me. It's inexpensive and saves so much time if you want to watch Netflix Hulu HBO etc
