If you're trying to save some cash and want a remote to be effective.... This remote does the trick for the xbox1.

I bought a remote for my PS4 and found it a little cumbersome to use. This one from Insignia is not. It is easy to use and small enough to hold in one hand.

I put batteries in and it worked with my XBox One perfectly. The only thing I realized is the it would be nice to have a keyboard for doing searches. But it was half of the price of the XBox brand with the keyboard and it is great not having to turn on a controller to pause and play movies!!

Works well, excellent value...Save $10 and buy this instead of the official remote...Good, solid remote...

Excellent to watch a movie on the Xbox. Much more comfortable to use than the gaming controller.

This is a decent remote for the Xbox One. One problem I had is it does not work with the youtube app.

My son bought this remote to use on X-box One. Mostly he uses it for Netflix but it does the job.

I mainly bought this because I was constantly annoyed by having to turn the Xbox controller on to pause Netflix and then have to turn it off again after the show starts. With this remote I don't have to worry about that anymore.

I bought this remote as I watch a lot of Netflix on my XBox One. Intially, I liked the remote but the build quality was not that great. The buttons seemed flimsy. I returned and bought the original xbox one remote. If you want to save money ($10) then go with this remote other I will recommend going with Xbox one original remote.

I bought this remote instead of the official Xbox One version as it was cheaper and looked sleeker. It will do the trick as it seems just as functional as the Xbox One version. I still wish that it had more to it but it does everything you would need.

This a great alternative to the official Microsoft remote. Same functionality as the official remote but at a low price.

The remote does what's promised with the Xbox One, which is great. I give 3 stars though, because I have an Insignia TV, and the remote doesn't connect to it for the other functions, such as the volume controls. Being of the same brand, and having them interact with each other was one of the reasons I bought it...

I like to leave the controllers by the TV and have the remote by the sofa
