Xbox doesn't always since the remote if something is blocking the line of site. The volume doesn't work on this remote to control the Xbox series x. The volume does work on my Xbox one tho.

It doest pair with your console though so you have to point it at the rf sensor which can be a pain sometimes. It's still very responsive though. Very easy to lose in couch cushions.

Don't love that it's IR instead of Bluetooth, since i have to be more thoughtful about aiming than i do with a controller, but otherwise it has been great for my Series X.
