I purchased this remote to give him a more simple remote similar to what he has been using for cable television and it's working very well.

I don't have any issues like in any of the other reviews about how you have to point the remote directly at the Xbox. Remote works great. Like how you can turn the Xbox on and off with it and you don't have to sync it. Works right out of the box.

This one fits the bill and works not like the PDP controller I bought before. I just wish it wasn't not a line of sight controller otherwise it's good.
