Just pop the batteries in and it’s ready to go. The buttons could be a little more responsive, but you can’t beat it for the price

And don't mind a slightly less polished feel (literally the surface is matte not glossy), this works fine. Pros: Affordable, works fine. So I'm sticking with the my shield TV for a while longer. Unfortunately the XSX can't do everything well enough for it to be my one box to rule them all
