A remote better than using a game controller

I purchased this remote to give him a more simple remote similar to what he has been using for cable television and it's working very well.

Close but not there yet

So I'm sticking with the my shield TV for a while longer. Unfortunately the XSX can't do everything well enough for it to be my one box to rule them all

What I was Looking for

This one fits the bill and works not like the PDP controller I bought before. I just wish it wasn't not a line of sight controller otherwise it's good.

I like this media remote.

It saves me having to turn on and off the Xbox remote just to pause during the movie and it's a quick way to turn off the Xbox without using the Xbox remote. By using this media remote I'm not having to charge my Xbox remote as often.

And don't mind a slightly less polished feel (literally the surface is matte not glossy), this works fine. Pros: Affordable, works fine. Cons: infrared not Bluetooth or 2.4g, this comes with all issues that affect ir.

Now this remote is awesome! The buttons work great, it feels good, love it. As soon as you put the batteries in you're ready to go.
