The only issue I ran into is the remote has to be pointed very specifically at the Xbox for it there isn’t a direct line to the Xbox it doesn’t seem to register.

Annoying to Use

This remote has unmatched requirement for precision when you're trying to use it. If youre more than 10° off the center line when pointing the remote at the Xbox it's just not going to work. I know the specific degrees because I got so frustrated one day that I use my phone's compass to measure it. 10° to either side and the input wouldn't reach the xbox. My Xbox is an open space so it's not like it's being obstructed. I've probably had this remote for two or three months and I am already considering buying a different one.
