Having this remote is nice but it's not quite the perfect remote. It needs to have a clear signal range to the XBOX otherwise it won't work. That is my only gripe with this remote.

It’s was a pain so I picked this one up to see if it’s any better. Definitely is. Button presses are more responsive and the IR direction feels a little more forgiving. Good product.

But it works for the Series X. I have an older Xbox One oval shaped remote I much prefer. It's back-lit, lights with motion, has a soft touch finish and looks more official.

Other than that, the build quality isnt the greatest; but, as long as you're not throwing it at or on hard surfaces, it'll be fine.
