Works great for controlling the xbox for media consumption, much better than the controller. Needs to be pointed directly at the xbox for best results. Worth the money.

Love this remote when using Xbox for streaming. It is easier to use and I do not have to use gaming remote. If I drop remote it is less expensive.

I built a PC near the start of the pandemic and since then i rarely use my xbox for gaming anymore. That said, i use it frequently for streaming shows and movies. Having this remote is so much nicer for scrolling through Netflix or whatever, especially since turning on the xbox with it can also turn on your tv and you can use it for volume. Plus it functions like a normal remote so you dont have to turn it on every time you want to pause or change something, unlike the controller. Overall it is just a remote and it does its job well.

Ease of use. Only thing is make sure control is pointed directly to xbox to get instant access. I guess depending on your setup of xbox u can decide of its for you.Being that xbox is directly on front of me i have no problems using control.If u have something blocking in way you going to have a connect problem.For me it works fine since xbox is directly in front of me and nothing blocking.Remember this not a bluetooth controller.

Fantastic controller. Click and it works. Very pleased with how it does not need to sync to my multiple consoles.

Great remote if you use your Xbox for streaming apps/blue ray DVDs. It is very responsive with no apparent lag when using. I use this for both my Xbox one X and Xbox Series X which are set up in different rooms. The remote requires no syncing and can be used interchangeably on both Xboxes without any issues. I actually like it so much I’m buying a second one so I don’t have to move it back and forth from rooms. Only downside is does have do be pointed relatively to the Xbox (exactly like a TV). I have both my Xboxes out in the open pretty high on shelves near my TV so I have no issues with it not working. This will be a problem if you have your Xbox hidden or in an awkward location.

Exactly what I was looking for. Compact design. Responsive buttons. Sleek look. Feels decent in the hand. Definitely happy with the purchase. Only thing I wish the remote had was A B X Y buttons somewhere on it. Without those, you can’t really utilize navigation shortcuts on certain apps (ex. Netflix: press Y to search). But with that said, if you’re looking for a media remote for your Xbox this will work great.

Good remote, it does exactly what i need it to do (control the xbox for all my streaming services for when family is in town.) You do have to have a pretty direct line of sight so dont complain if your setup is obscuring your xbox a bit and it dont work. All in all it does what i need it to do without fault.

Having the the Xbox Series X and using it to stream different apps you need a remote that can be just a media remote. When using the Xbox controller as a media remote, it goes off after sitting idle for a while. Having this media remote eliminates that hassle! If you use your xbox for streaming TV, this is a must have!

Great remote and affordable. Works as intended. I just wish my stupid controller battery charger box wasn't blocking the location where you're supposed to point the remote. Makes it almost impossible to use if I'm charging batteries. That's an Xbox problem though, not a remote problem.

I paid $10 for this product and i think for that price it's an excellent value. I have not had a chance to test out it's functionality/features 100% but for simply turning the xbox(one in my case; can't comment on series x|s) and controlling media it works fine. I did not need to pair the remote it just worked out of the box which is fantastic.
