It works but not all functions. It did not seem to pair with my Xbox One (sadly I'm still waiting to get lucky on buying a Series X). I returned it as I will continue to use the controller. It was an impulse buy. The good thing is Best Buy makes returns really easy.

It wouldnt work unless you were mere inches in front of the Xbox. Even then, it would still be intermittent at best. Returned this and bought the PDP Media Remote, and it works like a charm.

Remote feels cheap, unlike the Microsoft branded remote. Feels unnecessarily long for the inputs provided, and doesnt have light up buttons like other remotes. Remote functioned fine, all buttons worked and being IR, it doesnt require any setup. Would be fine for a kids room maybe, but not on the living room setup.
