Customers value the Media Remote for its ease of use, affordability, and functionality. They appreciate the convenience of controlling their Xbox without the need for a controller, especially for streaming shows. However, some users have expressed concerns about the remote's line-of-sight requirement and the need for direct pointing, as well as its build quality and use of infrared technology.

Gets the job done for the Xbox But you have to point it at the Xbox. The volume controls now work.

I love BestBuy but their Insignia Brand needs work. I opted to go with this media remote for my xbox instead of the more expensive microsoft xbox remote and while it works occasionally I have to make sure its aiming at a particular angle to the xbox and the tv connection isnt always on point.

Works well most of the time. There is a slight delay in pushing the button and a reaction on the screen.

Remote works great to replace having to turn the controller on after it times out while streaming. Its not a radio frequency though this uses infared which needs direct line of sight.

Not sure if its my Xbox or my TV (an LG) but it will not control the volume, which makes it not very useful as I still need the remote for the TV to do that.

Let's be honest this is a horrible remote. From its size to its button feel and lack of range. I've gone back to using my phone and the Xbox app as a remote for my series x
