Please note that it is only for charging electronic devices (phone, laptop, tablet, etc.) that have chargers already rated for the differences in voltage.It WOULD NOT WORK to power a hairdryer or other appliance.

Used it to plug in our Surface as the power brick can use either 110 or 220 watt power. Saved us a lot of money on packages for converting any outlet when we didn't need them.
