    Although it seems like the more expensive option than AA batteries for the Xbox controllers, the convenience of plugging in when done and being charged for your next session is worth it. It will pay for itself in a year or so with reduced battery replacement. If you do not get the elite controller then add this to your xbox accessories.

    For me this is the right product at the right price. The rechargeable battery works exactly as expected. The long charging cable is especially welcome, too. A full charge doesn't last nearly as long as 2 AA's but with the convenience of recharging it's more than enough. I like getting the little vibration from the controller when I plug in to charge. I wonder why I didn't buy this sooner!
