Better than buying AA batteries constantly

You need to use USB C cable. Another feature that I miss from the Xbox One kit is the charge light indicator. The Insignia kit for the Series X seems to be a standard USB C cable, and no light to indicate the battery is charged. So if you already the the batteries it seems any standard USB C cable will do.

The battery is a bonus when you want to be wireless. I have no issues on my Xbox controller! Highly recommend for the price and ease of use
