So, I returned it and decided to try this one. This one was easy to charge and it worked. Fully charged. I would recommend this one as opposed to the Microsoft one, which has a lot of defective battery kits out there.

My Xbox controller uses the old style, this one has the mini usb and did not work with my controller. There were no specs listed, only the picture to go by. Best Buy could have done better by adding a more detailed description. I ended up buying an additional cable that works with my controller.

I had these and they didn’t work as expected they are basically A A batteries
