Poor battery life, and it locks up.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Poor battery life, and when you have to change batteries, all of the memory presets are lost. Also, periodically it completely locks up while listening to it. The display goes blank, and none of the buttons work, even the power button. The only way to get it to work again is to remove and reinsert the batteries (again losing all of the memory presets).

It is also extremely hard on the head and is not adjustable making it very uncomfortable. The TWO AM stations that I could only get and a few of the FM stations do have an o.k. if somewhat tinny sound. Getting the batteries in was not easy as one of the battery springs was longer than the other which in turn would not allow for the little cap to close over the batteries. I tossed the whole darn thing into the garbage. It was such a lousy product that it wasn't worth returning.

Cheap for a reason
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Not great. This will suck the batteries (2 AA) quickly. When you change the batteries (which is frequent), it loses all of the saved memory settings. Reception isn't great on the AM dial. Overall, I would not recommend this radio.

I thought it was due to excessive moisture. The second lasted a month. Both times my fully functioning radio turned to complete static. The second time for no apparent reason.
