Customers appreciate the Portable Digital AM/FM Radio for its sound quality, ease of use, and reception. The radio is also praised for its price, size, and lightweight design. However, some customers have expressed concerns about the battery life, volume control, and AM reception.
Handy item. Works fine. The station memory protocol is a bit more complicated than I would have assumed it would be.

When I’ve purchased this model the design and features of the radio are very good but the durability of the brand is suspect for it has failed to hold up even when the use is not that demanding. On my first purchase the headphone Jack broke off and was not repairable. On my second purchase the internal parts failed leaving the clock as the only functional part the radio would not operate. It’s best to buy the insurance if you buy this insignia model .

Walking in the Tucson mountains almost daily and this little radio impresses me. The reception is better than the stereo in my house. There are of course some areas that are not so good but I'm impressed. It's small enough to put in a pocket so you don't really need the arm band or belt clip. The only complaint I have is the batteries that came with it are cheap and don't last. Buy some good AAA's.
