Handy item. Works fine. The station memory protocol is a bit more complicated than I would have assumed it would be.

When I’ve purchased this model the design and features of the radio are very good but the durability of the brand is suspect for it has failed to hold up even when the use is not that demanding. On my first purchase the headphone Jack broke off and was not repairable. On my second purchase the internal parts failed leaving the clock as the only functional part the radio would not operate. It’s best to buy the insurance if you buy this insignia model .

Walking in the Tucson mountains almost daily and this little radio impresses me. The reception is better than the stereo in my house. There are of course some areas that are not so good but I'm impressed. It's small enough to put in a pocket so you don't really need the arm band or belt clip. The only complaint I have is the batteries that came with it are cheap and don't last. Buy some good AAA's.

I purchased this Insignia portable digital AM/FM radio for my husband so he could listen to talk radio while outside working around the house and in the garage. He has said that it has good reception where ever he is using it and the headphones are light weight and the radio is easy to put in his pocket. He has not used the wrist attachment but I think it would be convenient to use if you didn't have a shirt pocket. My husband has had this product a couple years now and has had no problem with it and he uses it regularly.

Easy to program. Headphones are okay for AM listening. For FM, sounds better with a better set of headphones. Very good price. Handy wrist strap. (Some local FM channels are not too clear.)

A great digital sports radio for the price. Excellent reception, comfortable earphones, and very easy to use. I had searched along time to find a good portable digital radio with both an AM and Fm tuner at a reasonable price to replace my previuos Sony Walkman, and while perhaps not as sleek, this one fits the bill in terms of function and reliability at a quarter of the price.

I use this yestertech device all the time for walks. Works fine and does not burn battery/data from my mobile phone and the headphones can function as earmuffs when it is in the 20s outside. I just put the radio in my pocket. I do not use the armband. I also use the headphones for some video calls. Some challenges: 1. As the battery gets weak, the display dims and when you take the batteries out and replace them, the presets have to be redone. 2. The user interface for the preset is not very easy. Not a big deal for me, as I only listen to about 3 stations. 3. The reception is not perfect in my pocket. Sometimes I have to hold it to get the AM sports radio that is 25 miles away, especially around sunset time.

I purchased this for my boyfriend who uses it daily while working out and in areas that cell phones are not allowed at his work facilities. I also purchased him smaller in ear headphones because the ones with the package are 80's style and bulky/clumsy. He loves the radio and his buddy bought one just like it after trying my boyfriends out. He also got the seperate ear phones, suggest skull candy.

Bought this to use at the Titans games and it has really intensified my enjoyment of the game. I love Mike Keith--the voice of the Titans and his play by play is much better than the one in the stadium. Particularly helpful during pre-season when people are really trying out for the game and no one mentions their names in the stadium! It's even better than TV coverage. So light and the ear buds are so comfortable. The salesman at Best Buy took me right to it because he owned one. Thanks to him, I really am enjoying the games much more, especially when we beat both the Philadelphia Eagles and the Patriots--both Super Bowl Champs last year. It is so light weight that you can take it off and be completely in the stadium and then put it back on for additional info!.

Decent light weight and easy to use radio. The sound is clear as long as batteries are relatively fresh. Signal quality is good. The adjustable arm band with velcro is a little cheap but functional. I got this as a back up. Came with AAA batteries. Nice deign Overall good buy for me.

Well built and easy to use. Head phones took a while to get used to as they fit behind your neck and not on top of your head. The batteries didn't last too long. I would recommend re chargeable batteries and have spare set for back up. Sound is good. I use the radio for morning walks.

I bought this so I can listen to radio while mowing grass on my rider. I personally don't care for the ear headset because I can't hear as well from it as I can from soft earbuds, other than that it is perfect size and sound for what I am using it for.

Insignia portable digital AM/FM radio is a fantastic bargain, It has it's own over the head headphones, attaches to your arm for walking, and is good for sporting events.

This is a runners radio, it even comes with batteries so you are good to go as soon as you set it up. The controls are easy to use. You can set the time and day. Radio presets are available and tuning is a breeze. I used it for a weekend long training that was at the expo center. There were several radio frequencies they broadcast the program on. This radio made it easy to listen along. A friend had an analog radio and it was difficult to find the program as there are so many local stations broadcasting ( some on high power). This is a radio only, it does not broadcast or have Bluetooth. Remember that your headphones are the antenna so keep the cord hanging to pick up the best signal.

I just love this Insignia™ - Portable Digital AM/FM Radio. I get good AM and FM reception in Charlotte, NC. I had another brand a it was smaller but this one is much easier to set. I was hesitant to buy because of some of the reviews but glad I did. I do not have any issues and love when walking dogs

The radio is decent. It has clear sound. Of course AM or FM usually works when you have good signal like any other radio you listen to. The radio is bean shaped with a grey adjustable Velcro stiff arm band that slides in as a holester and click into place. Tough plastic..look a bit cheap but it’s functional. I purchased for emergency only like severe storms, tornado or ice storm that knocks out power. Not sure if it will hold up for everyday use. The features included are the preset buttons, clock setting, AM/FM band options, up and down arrows for searching clear reception, volume up and down. There is a hold switch to prevent switch of off and on of radio. The sound is nice and loud with included AAA batteries and headphones that has ergo design to rest around the neck. It does not fit on top of head ...maybe for a small child head I’m sure. It is truly a great design to be able to go walking, jogging or workout. Overall, great radio for my needs. I don’t play it for hours or everyday. I am thankful for the deal I got it for. I never expected the radio to be anything more than just a connected radio device for local news and severe weather in time of trouble when nothing else matters but survival.

Truly a great buy. Perfect am/FM radio with comfortable headset that contours to you, and the bonus to this is the arm strap you can use or a belt clip so your hands are free. Truly impressed with this super cute portable radio system that you can use or take with you anywhere.
