We dont keep it running continuosly, but keep it on the counter ready to go when we need some ice. We make enough to keep some in the freezer. The reason we bought this countertop ice cube maker is because we use a home filtration system for our drinking water.

The only hiccup I noticed was with the Size function. For a while it gave me a mix of large and small cubes regardless of the size I selected. After starting back up (you have to give it 3minutes off after “add water”Light comes on) I got sad little transparent pellets that get better. Overall happy with my purchase. Would do it again. The “ice full” is annoying. It’s never full just stuck on top of each other.

My whole family likes it.
