It does the job, does it quickly. Ice is exactly what is expected. Reasonable priced. Four stars only as i wish they had an insulated bin. Or at least a container you close up and put in the freezer and use a second one for more ice.

Picked this up during a daily deal and havent been disappointed. Makes the ice just as described. I use it in place of my refrigerators ice maker.

This is the BEST ice maker I’ve ever purchased. It’s well designed; the water tank is under the ice bin, so if the ice melts, the water is reused. It’s quiet, efficient, and wonderful!

This works well for an ICE maker. It does not have a coolant system to keep the new ice from melting. If you are looking for an Ice Maker that will make and keep the ice, this will not work for that. However its great for get togethers etc. It makes ice quickly and quietly.

Amazing, when it works! This is the 3rd one I have purchased in 5 years. This machine provides the best ice and quickly! However each one I’ve owned has had its own issues. The 1st one did not recognize when the basket was overfilling with ice. The 2nd one thought the bucket was full when it was empty and my last purchase does not recognize when water has been refilled. I have to turn the machine off and on again. However this does seem to be one of the cheapest brands for counter top ice.

This is great when you do not have a refridgerator for 3 weeks as it was broken. It will be great for any gatherings that need lots of ice. I also used it for my cooler as I had to keep ice in it to keep a few items cold from refridgerator that wasnt working.

Mold and bacteria grow easily and hard to clean. Makes great ice but poor design makes it difficult to clean. We've owned it for a couple of years and it needs to be cleaned at least once a month. The pictures show what you'll see if you look closely at your unit every so often. It doesn't come apart at all so you'll need to get crafty when cleaning it.

I love how fast the ice is made. The fact that every 24 hrs it melts the ice and restarts the next day with fresh ice. I would definitely recommend it to a friend

The machine is easy to set up. Works well and quickly. Great purchase!

Works great! Makes a lot of ice if you keep an eye on it. The instructions say not to use tap water with it so we spent more on water than getting bags of ice. Great for a camper or if you dont have a lot of freezer space.

Have had this ice maker for a few months and it is the best ice maker ive ever owned! Produces ice about every 7 minutes, so we never run out. Its saved us a lot of money, not having to purchase bags of ice every week!

Man, this thing is a gateway drug into the world of unlimited ice. Dont even start if youre not ready for a world of pain… get the protection plan PLEASE. We are literally on our 4th one, ive been to Best Buy so many times to replace it, its getting on my nerves. But when it works, it is great… keep in mind that it is NOT repairable (Insignia lied and said it is), the first time it broke, i came to Best Buy and they “replaced” it only to give me back the same exact device (the associate pretended to go in the back and replace it) - see what i mean?

I love my ice maker. At first I felt it took too long however I dont think i have even turned this bad boy off!! Ice is quickly made and its perfect.

Nice little ice maker. It doesn't make a whole lot at once, but doesn't take too long to get about 2 cups full. Very compact and fits on the counter very nicely. Keep in mind that it is recommend not to have anything within about few inches of it (for ventilation). This could be a problem for some who have limited counter space.
