It does what it's told, and soon you'll have enough ice to last yourself...given that you remember to refill the water compartment. In the time I've had it the machine has only messed up once, and in that sense it was easy to fix because it somehow managed to make mutant icecubes that needed to be shimmied off the freezing poles. In final, think about it. Are you wanting to pay the price for multiple bags of ice now, that will last you for longer, or just keep going to the market?

Needs to be watched though and continuously emptied into a proper freezer. Cubes are fun shaped albeit a little wet. I’d buy it again for my purposes.

I love chewing ice and the ice trays were taking up way to much room in the freezer. This makes it where I was able to get rid of the ice trays and make ice when I need and want it.

As long as you empty the tray into the freezer it keeps making ice. Haven't had but a month put so far so good. Bought one for my wife and gave another to my mom as a gift, they both love it.

The only downside of it is that the crevasses behind the catch is very difficult to clean and it get a lot and i mean a lot of build up. I bought brish kits and nothing seem to reach the area. I did the vinegar and hot water method and even check other alternatives to clear it out but nothing
