Good Bang for the Buck.

It's my first ice maker, so I don't have much to compare it to...so take everything with a grain of salt. It's quick, but if you don't use the ice quickly it melts and re-freezes. It only makes about 9 cubes at a time, so if you're having a party be sure to start ahead of time and get plenty of ziploc bags to store it in. All in all, it's solid, just wish it would not melt off so quickly.

Fits on the counter great and makes ice rather quickly! We let the basket fill and then out the ice in a freezer container until our container is full.
