This is a wonderful ice maker. We use this for parties and for it being compact ice maker it really does a great job. It is easy to just put the water in and let it do its magic of making ice cubes. It will Indicate when the bucket is full. We are very pleased with this purchase.

Love the icemaker (NOT THE PLUG). I always make the large cubes (which aren't really large). The ice is shaped like a bullet with a hole in the middle. The first batch of cubes always comes out flimsy but then the rest are great. I love the simplicity of this machine. Doesn't take up too much counter space. Fill with water. Hit start (I have large cubes selected) and that's it. Let the basket fill up and then empty the basket when it is full and the machine just keeps going until it is out of water (then you get a red light saying the water is low). I am totally disappointed about the drain plug at the bottom of the ice maker. It is IMPOSSIBLE for me to pull that plug out in order to drain the water when I am done making the ice (you wont' want the water to sit in there). The TINY PLUG is very hard on fingers, and the SHARP EDGES TO GRAB ON THE PLUG ARE TOO SMALL even for my small fingers. It's too bad, but since it is such a silly thing for them to have not make a better plug that you could easily release, I am deducting one star. Jeepers... it's so ridiculous.

I love this lil ice maker. Love how compact it is and not as loud as the other ones. Can’t beat the price!

We have had this ice maker about a month now. We have had these types of ice makers before. This is the fourth in 4 years. This one seems to do well. We are heavy ice users. I will say that this ice maker makes ice quicker than the the last three we have had. Contrary to some reviews, this ice maker is relatively quiet, compared to the other ones we have had. Insignia (Best buy Branding) seems to be of good quality. I have a Stereo receiver under this brand name and it's awesome. So getting back to this ice maker, it seems that it does a good job. Will let you know in a year for an update. I did take the 2 yr warranty tho, considering my past history with these. I hope I will have wasted money on the warranty and the thing just keeps working for a long time.

Nice little counter top icemaker. Makes ice quickly. I hate my fridge ice. This ice tastes fresh and the two different options for size are nice.

Works as it should. Quickly makes ice and is quiet while running other than when the ice dumps, as expected.

This works amazingly we don’t leave it on until we can keep up with the making of ice then put ice in ziplock bags and start again. So far it’s been great We actually love it glad we got it cause we been wanting one but reviews weren’t good but believe me i would tell you if it wasn’t a good product

After multiple issues with refrigerator-freezer water line, decided to purchase this item. Easy to use. 2 size settings, just turn on, pour water to or below the fill line and leave it alone. Runs quiet. No regrets. If having medium-large gatherings, pre-make ice and store in freezer.

I purchased this ice maker A couple months ago. I like the quality, the ice makes a good amount, the machine is quiet, and it fits nice in the counter, the icemaker was cost effective and meets my needs for what I wanted it for.

Some initial teething troubles with the unit - if you had something to close to the fan on the side the unit would overheat and make the most bizarre sounds. Resolved quickly. Make sure you clean it every two weeks tops. Fresh ice all day long and really not noisy at all for a table top unit.

I purchased this ice machine for extra ice at family gatherings. So far, it has meet, all expectations. It makes small or large ice cubes very fast, and is very quiet. It sits on my counter and doesn't take up a lot of space. Awsome, little machine for the price.

Really like this ice maker. Makes plenty ice in a day to fill my ice bucket. The only problem is, I wish it had more of a freezer function so the ice is not so wet when you remove it from the machine. Once I fill my ice bucket in my freezer, the ice cubes are stuck together. Pretty quiet and easy to use.

I sure do love my new ice maker! Its compact but mighty! I orefer the smaller size that makes approximately 10 cubes at a time in around 7-8 minute intervals. The best part for me? They crush up easily when you bite them. Its like Sonic ice to me in comparison, only bigger. Be sure to fill up your cup pretty high for IMO best results. We let ours run for a day and fill up my dinosaur 1997 fridge and use the front dispenser for rapid delivery. However, if you do this be prepared to grab a kitchen tool to beak them up ahould they clump together. Its not a flaw in the machine itself.

A great little machine that churns out tons of ice. Each cycle is about 9 minutes long, and took almost no time to fill a giant freezer bag full. It has a fairly small footprint, and the only noise I can hear is the ice being dumped into the tray.

I bought the icemaker a couple of days ago to replace the icemaker in our Whirlpool refrigerator. The icemaker is working well! It takes about an hour to fill the basket and we dump the ice in our fridge. To prevent clumping, I stir the ice cubes around with the scooper after dumping basket in the fridge. Nice little unit and provides my wife and I with all the ice we need. Hopefully, I'll last a few years!

works as it should and very easy to use it's been used 4 days a week several hours each day for the last 2 years doesn't take up much room on the counter

It makes ice within 15 to25 minutes. Definitely use purified water and it works fantastic!

Nice, compact ice maker for a kitchen counter. Makes ice fast but isn't insulated well so the ice melts soon. The melted ice goes back into the water tank so there isn't any waste. I would buy again.
