I have had several portable ice machines different brands and they last for couple years then they break and I buy another one. I bought this particular one this time and so far I have to say it’s working great it makes ice a lot faster than any of the previous ones I had I would recommend this unit if you’re looking for a portable ice machine great size for your bar area or whatever camping whatever it may be.

Small and sturdy, it makes ice quickly, but the pieces are small and hollow—about the size of a woman's index fingertip. Although you can choose "small" or "large" ice, I did not see a difference. The basket that holds the ice as it's made is small and flat, so I had to empty it frequently to prevent it from shutting off. If the basket were sloped toward the front, the ice would have fallen away from the "full line." Also, the unit does not keep the ice cold, so it was to be stored elsewhere to prevent it from melting into the water reservoir. However, we managed to keep food cool with bowls of this ice for about a week in the refrigerator when our freezer broke and had to be replaced. If we added water and transferred the ice as needed, we kept the ice maker going for about 12 hours daily, making it durable.

This thing is awesome. It makes ice in 7 minutes, its quiet and easy to use.

This ice maker is great. My husband uses it on his semi truck for ice. It is easy to use and makes ice fairly quick. It is easy to clean and is not real big or heavy.

Awesome ice machine I use it every day really easy to use and hardly takes up no space on my countertop saves a lot of room in my freezer with all those ice cube trays buy it!

Overall this product is great, especially for the price and the convenience. Its pretty easy to use just fill to line and choose your size ice. There are only two size options, yet not quite a significant difference between small and large. Makes a good amount of ice, and is efficient and timely. Would definitely recommend!

Makes ice on demand, quiet machine. Fix minimal counter space

Love this little guy. I wanted an ice maker for my apartment and maybe take on camping trips. It's almost perfect. Once it gets going, it produces 9 bullet sized cubes (think Civil War bullet) in a timely manner. If I turn this on in the morning, I'll have ice all day long and would just have to add water if I'm going through it. The ice is soft enough for ice chewers, but not so soft that it melts quickly. It's not a big power draw, so leaving it on all the time is not a big deal. The bin is not insulated, but if it does start to melt, the water drips into the reservoir to be made into ice again. Cleaning it is quite easy with a quick wipe down and rinse. I liked it so much that I bought one for our office. Few small knocks on it. The scoop for it is nice to have, but it barely fits in the bin which makes getting ice out not as easy as it could be. The lid to the bin opens up which means when you're using it, you can't tuck it under something. Only an issue if you're trying to save counter space. Lastly, it would be nice if the bin was insulated, but it's not a big thing since the ice get recycled through melting. I gave it 4 stars, but it's probably more like 4.5.

Easy to use - works great. Quieter than I expected. Makes ice quickly, but you have to empty the ice fast because it's not cooled after the ice is made and the ice starts to melt.

Enjoyed this ice maker very much. Will be using this thing about every other day. This was a good buy from Best buy

Makes ice very quickly. This unit is a bit loud and makes random strange noises when operating but it’s in the kitchen on a first floor so we barely hear it anymore. Easy to clean and add water.

Makes ice really fast. Not too loud. Its perfect for having guest over and when everyone needs ice. I set on top of my mini fridge. Small enough but large enough to do the job

I like how it makes small cubes that can fit in a bottle to keep your drinks cold. I also like how its compact and will fit in a small space. Perfect size for our kitchen and easy to use even for our grandsons.

Makes ice really fast as it says on package. It's small and good to have in case you have company over. Good for alcohol drinks as well. Must have for the price.

This ice maker is a must in every household. Fast and the noise is not loud.

I always wanted an ice maker and finally pulled the trigger. My expectations have been met….it makes good size cubes and a fair amount of time. I have used to prep a day before hosting and put cubes in large zip locks to have easily available. I also have used for days in the pool. You get maybe a large ziplock every 3 hours and have to empty the tray to dump the ice every 45min maybe. Quality is good and doesn’t make much noise.

Love it! The unit is attractive and performing magnificently. It replaces a similar, but more expensive, bulky and far louder unit, from a different manufacturer, roughly, without warning, simply stop working. after approximately 14 months of use. Shopped for and selected previous unit based in large part on the quiet/low decibel operating partners. Blown away how much quieter this replacement is.
