Pro: Makes ice really quickly Lightweight and can be placed just about anywhere Motor is very quiet Easy to refill Cons: Small basket so not much ice can be made Water reservoir is small so you have to add water constantly Overall: works as advertised. You just have to decide how much ice you need. It’s the users are 1-2 people only will be perfect as it’s small and can be placed anywhere. If there’s more than 2 people using the ice maker consider buying a model that hold more ice

My standing fridge has mold (assumed from the taste and expert opinions) in the lines on the inside of the machine. It would practically be cheaper to buy a new fridge than have the lines replaced. I decided to get this ice maker rather than going out to buy bags of ice all the time. I have had it for awhile and I am very pleased with it. It does not make a whole lot of ice in the basket, but it does not take long at all for the basket to fill back up. It is also small enough that it does not take up much room at all on the countertop.

Due to having ongoing issues with a fridge that frosts regularly, I am not able to use the ice making function on my fridge and regularly find myself buying ice cubes. I was delighted to spy this ice maker while checking out a potential new fridge purchase and am so happy I bought it! It is easy to use, makes plenty of ice in a short period of time, and I find myself using it daily.

Cheap and easy functioning, however, it doesn't get 5 stars due to the fact it doesn't keep the Ice cool enough for long periods. (Ice will start to melt after 30 min, AFTER it turns off or is full of ice. During the production of ice it will keep the other ice from melting) You need a separate container for the ice if you wish to preserve it. Pretty fast, fresh ice within 10mins of turning on the machine and adding water. FYI, make sure to follow directions and cycle machine a couple times as it cleans out the residue left over from manufacturing. I actually never thought about that but as soon as I read manual I thought "duh". And the fact more and more of our products are produced overseas with often no standards to oversite you never know what chemicals or cleaners where used in the production of this produce. It has two ice sizes as a FYI, (Small & Large) that is not clearly outlined in the description or on the box.

This little device is great. Our refrigerator/freezer stopped working and we needed something that made ice since our other refrigerator was completely filled with items from the broken one ,freezer full with no room for an ice tray. The new unit wasn't expected for a month, so i purchased the Insignia Ice maker. We love it. It has kept us in ice . Makes ice very quickly. It is quiet and very efficient. Not sorry we bought it. We will be using it even when our unit comes in because it creates soft ice,

really awesome product! We have had countless issues with our icemaker in our refrigerator, so this has been a great alternative. Ice comes out relatively fast and using the product is quite easy.

We bought this for our RV. Tested it at home and made ice to begin our trip. Made cubes fast (9 cubes in 6 minutes). We are heavy ice users with water bottles, coolers, and, of course, cocktails. On our trip, it took me a couple of days of making ice a couple of hours in the morning and a few in the evening to get ahead of the production/use curve, but this unit did it. Given some of the reviews, we did buy the four year protection plan, but given the price of the unit and the protection plan, we are still way under the cost of GE units which get worse reviews. The cubes are a little wet and soft sontransfer them to the freezer regularly and bounce the cubes to seperate.

Produces ice quickly, however the ice melts very quickly in the bin. Nice and compact. Easy to set up.

Works Great and really like the design and Color and its not to big for the amount of Ice it puts out.

I received one as a gift, and I am impressed by the speed and efficiency of this machine. It continually cracks out pretty good ice and it doesn't take very long to do it. I also put purchased one as a gift for someone else and convinced another to buy one of their own, and so far everyone is happy. Highly recommended.

makes ice so fast , senses low water and when ice is full. this is the second ice maker different brands ..this one is the best. easy to clean

I purchased this as a gift and I would like to report that it is loved by the recipient. It makes ice at a decent rate and is quiet. It doesn’t take up too much space on the counter.

I'm glad I purchased this item. The days maybe getting a little shorter but its still hot and humid out. Which makes having an extra little ice maker outside in the patio area a perfect idea. You'll get 9 pieces of ice every 7 minutes or so. The unit maybe small but it fills up rather quickly. This is my second unit, make sure to use only filtered water, so the hard water build on the inside of the unit doesn't clog up too quickly. Otherwise, no other tips or tricks. It's pretty self explanatory. Enjoy!

This ice maker is great for under $100. It makes the ice very fast and straightforward on how to use it. I have had it for two weeks now and I love it. This is not for you if you need a large amount of ice.

Nice product and a very good price. This is the third ice maker I’ve purchased. Use one at home, and two in my campers. Very well made and easy to use. Would purchase again and recommend to anyone seeking a similar product. Warmer weather is coming and you won’t want to be out of ice !

Ice maker was a Christmas gift, and it turned out to be a great choice. No issues at all – it does exactly what it promised. It's compact and fits perfectly on our counter. Ice production is speedy, and I love choosing different cube sizes. The auto shut-off works like a charm, and the indicator lights are handy. This was an great gift for my son's new home.

As a family who loves ice in all of their beverages, this ice maker is perfect. Ice is made quickly so that we're never without it. This is our second one in several years. The first one was still producing ice but I just wanted a newer looking one, It's one of those small appliances that's worth taking space on my counter.
