I just have to stay on yop of it while it’s making ice or else I will lose all the ice and start over again. The ice make doesn’t keep the ice for a long time like a freezer. It made them but you have to transfer them to a freezer right away or else it will melt and go back to the cycle. The other downside to it is. I have to constantly add water if I want it to make more ice. Make ice, transfer to freezer add water thats how it is.

Just wish it had more insulation in it so the ice wouldn't melt so fast. When I dump the ice into a container in my freezer it gets stuck together when freezing. That is the only thing I have found that I didn't like.

Hard to clean

The drain at the bottom made this relatively easy; however, there were some spots that were very hard to reach in the back of the top part. When we saw what looked to be mold in areas we couldn't reach at all, we had to get rid of it. This was just a year and a half ago and is frustrating because it otherwise worked well. But, it was quite gross to see mold when we tilted it in a certain angle, not knowing how long it had been there
