I'm not sure if this is the normal life of an ice maker or if it is not made to use almost nonstop so I am not sure if I should try another brand or if I should use it less but since the ice maker in our refrigerator doesn't work, we need something to supply ice daily. I figured I paid $5.53 a month for the ice maker so I did get some good use out of it.

Little but loud

I was going to return it, but for the price I payed I decided I can deal with it in a whole different level of the house. I live in a ranch style house so it’s not big and even then I can hear it clearly from upstairs.

For some reason the cubes melt after the bin gets full if I don’t use them right away. Yesterday the maker quit making any ice at all. I have the warranty on it, so that will be put to use. B

We purchased before pandemic and used 24/7 It was a super idea. It started to rust in the ice area so we decided to get a new one. But the price had increased almost 50.00. I wasn’t too happy but it is a very needed item in our home.

Same issues on two ice makers

The first one worked well for a couple of years and we do use it a lot. The second one, we had some issues with it but was able to keep it going for about a year before it petered out. The one we have now we have had for about a month and it is starting to have the same issue as the last one. We probably will not buy this model again.
