It does make ice quickly (small cubes) the only drawback is that the cubes aren't hard frozen, but it does the job. We bought it because our refrigerator space isn't plumbed for water and we were buying ice in bags before this.

Only thing is that the ice comes out wet still, so it sticks to the others. Too bad the freezer isn’t as cold to keep them separated. Other than that, I love the ice.

No issues with ice indicator sensors or cooling fan. Great for getting away from the traditional ice trays in the freezer that no one fills back up.

Nice to free up freezer space and still have ice when we want it. Have taken it to potluck where it came in quite handy since stores nearby were sold out. Plan to take it in the trailer when we go camping too
