The ice maker went out of my freezer, and I didn't feel like replacing it so I bought this. I figured I can take it camping, so that makes it dual purpose.

The ice hopper is a bit small if you are looking to generate a lot of ice, but I found it no problem at all to empty the hopper every half hour or so.

We purchased this last june, used it for the a few months through summer then stored it away until two weeks ago. Hopefully they will replace it as we’re still under the 1 year warranty
