    Works great and reuses water. Doesn’t need to be filled up very often. Not too much of an energy consumption increase.

    Our refrigerator icemaker broke and this replaced it. It is not as convenient as having water always available but better than not having an icemaker

    The fact that the ice is hollow means more surface area to absorb heat from the liquid from your drink. It gets cold fast!

    Buy the protection plan. I'm on my 2nd ice maker. It comes with a year warranty and Insignia support refers you to the Geek Squad if something goes wrong. However, it would be nice to not have to contact support first. After about 3-5 months the compressor in the ice maker starts to squeal. I got the replacement in July 2021 and it's October 27th 2021 and I'm working to get it replaced.

    Wish it would just keep the ice frozen and you didn’t have to constantly empty it but for the money it is worth it.

    Great little helper for additional ice during get togethers. Getting ice from tray with scooper can be little difficult but manageable.

    It is still working really well The only problem is you have to clean it out a lot or it gets slimy inside and mold can grow

    very cool. No pun on that. You have to be patient when you first get it started it takes a while for ice to build up and be large. Other than that it ok
