By day 3 it would run and after its first time filling the bucket up id take the ice out and it wouldnt make ice. Id have to turn it off and on again.

I guess I am a sadist because I'm currently on my 3rd (maybe 4th) one of these and sure enough this too died on me recently. I would've returned it with a day to spare on the warranty but since I could not find the box I don't believe I could've actually done so. Only get on sale and only if you don't expect it to last for very long.

It tends to stop making the ice thick. Starts to be thin ice shells. Other than that decent if you use for occasions or once in awhile

The ice cubes for this machine seem small even on the large setting, the bin fills pretty quickly so it needs to be emptied frequently.

It says ice in 6 minutes, that is like 10 little bullets every 6 minutes. After 12 minutes I was dumping them into freezer and they had melted enough that they stuck together. Take forever to get much ice.

So now, it still makes ice but does not move the ice to the basket rendering it mostly useless now.

The product label states 2.1 amp power draw (but it's more like 8.7 + amps on startup). Worked like a champ till day 19 when the machine wouldn't stop making ice and got all jammed up. Cleared the ice jam, but it happened 3 more times at various times during the next day/night before unplugging for good. So, who doesn't offer a 30 day return policy these days? Well, evidently that'd be Best Buy (15 days only). Returned to the store was able to get a store credit (woo-woo!), for something else that'll have a 15 day return policy.
