But after having it since Jan 2022(this was actually a replacement from my first one i had, which i had the same issue with) it is now leaking all over my glass table top and staining it. id honestly rather purposely hurt myself just so i have to go to the hospital to get my favorite ice.

However, the ice melts within 20 minutes of being made and it goes in a vicious cycle of melting ice and making ice from the same water. I have had it less than a month and it stopped working. Not sure if it’s due to continuous use, or badly made.

The first couple of batches are small cubes, they get a little bigger the more you make.started to grow mold inside when not in use.

Unfortunately, it’s a lot of work. Every 9 minutes (for “large” ice and 6 minutes for small; I only used the large setting and it wasn’t very big ice) 9 ice domes are made and released into the holding basket. In order for the ice to not melt, you must empty right away into your freezer. It took me 3 days... 3 DAYS!!! (From morning until night)to make a large bin of ice and a “spare” container of ice. I felt like that was a bit slow and ridiculous. I will just buy a bag of ice as I need it and save myself the time and effort. I am definitely returning this item.

It stopped working after about a month... Unfortunate because we loved it at first! I even recommended to other family members so hopefully theirs keeps working..

I have only had this ice maker for 4 months and it’s terrible! Do not waste your money! I clean this ice maker and run the basket through the dishwasher regularly however, mold still started to grow under the basket where it sits in the ice maker. I also noticed at the bottom of the water reservoir a pink film (pink mold?). I reached out to service and I can not return this item so in the trash it goes. Luckily it was not too expensive. They did offer to have geek squad look at it, however they can not stop mold from growing, so that’s a waste of time!
