Then the sensor to stop the pump when the water was too low broke so now it runs all the time. And it's running rougher and rougher.

Tired of refilling trays. However if you transfer the cubes to the freezer they freeze into one large clump. Not good. So, back to the trays.

Ice Maker that doesn’t hold ice

You need to put the ice in the freezer afterwards. If it makes ice it should be able to keep the ice it makes without needing to put the ice in the freezer.

Luckily there is a warranty on it for a year but it’s just annoying that we had to go through this

It won’t freeze the ice no more. Of course it’s out of warranty and not returnable. It should have lasted more than a few months. A total waste of my money.

Stopped working

I'm totally sad and I'm going to look to see if there's a warranty for this and if it will be replaced. If not I'm going to look into another brand. I've always backed insignia but I don't know anymore.

Ice Maker Fail

The ice tray didn't have enough time to fill up to even have a cup of ice before they all melted. I could have just had a bad one but I ended up returning

Broke after 14 months

Bought this maker in July of 2022, it broke september 2023. Best Buy support said they could not give me a replacement, and the warranty is no longer active as it is only a one year warranty. If you MUST buy this, buy some sort of an extended protection plan. Or just buy a better made model.
