Bad salesman

Owned for 7 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this in spfld Illinois and the salesman was clueless- I ended up later investing in the more expensive ice maker that I should’ve bought to begin with- this machine ice melts doesn’t keep it cold at all and causes bad mold to build up- I cleaned the ice maker out several times it was the worst investments and I will always go with what I know next time not what a salesman tries to get me to buy

When asking for help, I am switched from department to department with no help. Constantly given the same 1800 number that leads to know where. I am told to bring it to the local bust buy… But mine closed years ago, they refused to help any further.

I had been researching for a month about the different machines. I thought with the reviews that this would be a great ice machine. Even though it was a brand new units, it never made ice. I waited 2 days before I plugged it in so that the unit was upright after shipping but it kept just running water. Sadly, I had to return it and still searching for a decent machine

The motor runs, cycles the water and and goes through the rest of the motions, but the coils do not get cold, and it does not make ice cubes. If you do end up buying this, be sure to purchase the extended warranty because Bestbuy will just tell you "Tough Luck."

Just rather get my money back!

In 1 years time I currently have to return another one and this will be #4. The first 3 started leaking really bad after a few months. The 4th one is not making ice at all now. It keeps saying add water when its already at the max level. The water doesnt move up into rhe tray to make the ice.

And the machine isn’t a freezer, so if you don’t remove them after they are made they melt right back into the water tray and then they all stick together into one bulky ice cube mess. Would not recommend unless you have 5 hours to spend in the kitchen watching the machine.

When we started we followed every detail of cleanup and start up and it worked amazing for the first 6 days then just completely stopped working.

Great Ice Maker

It will fill a gallon storage bag with small bullet cubes with one maximum level fill. To keep the ice from sticking together I take out of the tray and dry with a dish towel to remove excess water. If the ice cubes stick together, just lightly drop it on the counter and it loosens right up. Much easier than purchased bags of ice. It is fairly quiet and doesn't take up much space. Very easy to use.
