    Unit is very slow. Ice cubes melt before its finished filling the ice hopper. Then when you transfer the ice cubes to a freezer, they freeze into a block of ice. Pretty useless as far as we are concerned.

    I give it a 1 star ⭐️ bcz we didn’t even have it for 42 hours & It stopped working. The ice that was made melted right of way not cold. I had to return it.

    First time out of the box, only half the ice bars would work took it back and got a refund

    As of today every time I turned it on the red light for fill water comes on and won't make ice cubes at all! Since I ordered it on June 23 I really thought it would last longer than this!!!

    This was either my second or third ice machine. The machine works for a short period of time. I got a contract so I was able to return them. Will not buy another.

    These things make terrible ice that just melts while the machine wait for it to be used, the ice storage section is not chilled. Additionally, we've had ours for ~2 months and it's begun failing, I have to unjam it daily. Total piece of junk.

    Extremely disappointed!!! Used Four times and at first worked amazingly but made ice today and it was such a big problem! I’ve had this for 4 months and stops working!!! I want my money back ASAP!!!! Best Buy should back everything they sell….

    Get the warranty on this brand

    Only lasted 6 months. If you buy it make sure you get the replacement plan. Insignia brand is terrible and the mfg warranty is a joke since they practically state that nothing is covered in small print and excluded all repairs.

    I want to love this but I am now on the way to get my 2 one in two years the first last less than a year and this one a 13 months I'm getting a replacement but when this one fails I will not get getting another one.

    Adter having this product for about a month an noticed the ice was tasting funny after inspecting the product I found it had rust coming from the side mixing in the ice, this product is hard to clean also.

    Not getting cold to make ice

    This is my 3rd one I've purchased (this was a gift) it arrived on its side and has been running for over 24 hours and has still not produced any ice and wont get cold. I'll be returning it and hopefully getting one that actually works this time
