    These things make terrible ice that just melts while the machine wait for it to be used, the ice storage section is not chilled. Additionally, we've had ours for ~2 months and it's begun failing, I have to unjam it daily. Total piece of junk.

    It’s a really good solid ice machine but not built to last. Had to replace the machine every year.

    One temporary ice machine coming up.

    I want to love this but I am now on the way to get my 2 one in two years the first last less than a year and this one a 13 months I'm getting a replacement but when this one fails I will not get getting another one.

    Get the warranty on this brand

    Only lasted 6 months. If you buy it make sure you get the replacement plan. Insignia brand is terrible and the mfg warranty is a joke since they practically state that nothing is covered in small print and excluded all repairs.

    Extremely disappointed!!! Used Four times and at first worked amazingly but made ice today and it was such a big problem! I’ve had this for 4 months and stops working!!! I want my money back ASAP!!!! Best Buy should back everything they sell….

    Adter having this product for about a month an noticed the ice was tasting funny after inspecting the product I found it had rust coming from the side mixing in the ice, this product is hard to clean also.

    Not getting cold to make ice

    This is my 3rd one I've purchased (this was a gift) it arrived on its side and has been running for over 24 hours and has still not produced any ice and wont get cold. I'll be returning it and hopefully getting one that actually works this time

    Had a horrible smell coming from it similar to burning plastic, didn’t work as adversited. Had to return in 3 days due to malfunctions.

    Is not doing the complete batch

    I totally disappointed, it took more than 12 minutes to do the first ICE CUBE, yes, ONE. I must select a large size because with the small the machine was doing 3 barely frozen cubes, It never makes the 9 cubes per batch just 6, I took more than an hour the make 12 cubes. I'm ready to return it back.

    Thia is my second one in a year, not a good build product. I have faith the first timw broke and i blame us, now second one beokw after 2 months use. Defnely is a problem with the maker.

    When it worked, made ice. Was noisy, made small quantities. Never saw how it made 26 lbs in 24 hours. HOWEVER IT ONLY WORKED FOR THREE MONTHS

    However 16 day after delivery it no longer makes ice. Motor totally gone. You only get 15 days to return I didn't know that.

    Horrible ice maker. Worked OK on day one, but then would only sometimes make ice. Did the reset and then we couldn't choose if large or small cubes, it chose for us. Has a mind of its own whether or not it wants to work even if we unplug multiple times. Definitely do not recommend this ice maker.
