Always buy the Geek Squad Protection Plan
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.When it works, its great, Several things to look at when purchasing ANY ice machine 1) Always purchase the Geek Squad Protection plan, my experience is all ice machines only work for 1 to 2 years, 2) Always use clean FILTERED water, 3) Always clean machine with Vinegar and Water Monthly. DO this, and you machine might last 3 years, But with the Geek Squad protection plan (4 year) they will just take the broken machine and give you store credit for the amount you paid. And you can keep getting new machines for years. I cannot tell you how many machines I have had over the last 8 years, but only paid for the first one and then occasionally paid for the Geek Squad Protection plan dpending on what state I was in.
