I've had this ice maker over a year and it's been great except for 1 thing. Is there some way to make it colder? Also is it common during a cycle to have a cube or 2 not fully formed? I've run cleaning cycles and out of ideas

The machine makes ice pretty quickly. I don't like the fact that it does not keep the cubes frozen and if you don't transfer the cubes to the freezer, they melt and it's making the same ice over and over. It's not bad for the money.

Exactly what I needed! I eat ice and of course use it in all my drinks. This icemaker is very efficient and does exactly what it says it will and what i need it to do. I definitely do not miss having to fill up ice trays all the time and wait for that or having to replace ice trays all the time either.

recieved it on time i had to be at work at 3pm it came at 2:15. i wish the driver would had rung the door bell because the area i live in is not a good area to leave things but i recieved it and wrapped it up and put it in the christmas tree. i never knew best buy delivered. thanks guys.

I like my ice cubes a bit bigger but the large selective on this portable ice maker is adequate enough.

I do not have a kitchen I have a small ref and most of the time. No ice this was very much needle. I like this ice maker.

After a few months of use this is so noisey when the pump is moving the water. Ice is great, timing is great but so loud it needs its own room to make the ice.

The ice maker works well and ice shape is nice. It's a little noisy and sometimes take a bit to make ice.

Quick and easy to use. Ice in about 15 minutes. Does not have a large footprint, so doesn't take up much space. Perfect for a small group.

I bought this when the ice maker in my refrigerator didnt work right, less expensive for this than to have the refrigerator fixed

Pros - the first 1-3 months you have a really nice machine with good ice the forms quick Cons - machine cracked while shoveling ice and it caused water to leak into the machine while running. Also it started getting rusty from the area with broken plastic which im sure then turned into rust and mold combo. Cleaning it was impossible and took me hours and hours each week go scrub. Dont expect that you can clean out the pipes of this thing either - god only knows what kind of mold and metal i couldnt remove from the plastic pipes. I tried cleaning the machine with solution but that didnt really help. Its now out of warranty and we are out 100 bucks and a lot of time spent cleaning. Save your money and buy a GE opal on sale. This machine is just bound for a landfill within 1-2 years. Best buy should really consider improving the quality of the Insignia brand or at least give your loyal cardholders more warranty service for free.

Bought as a gift for my husband. He loves it, especially because it’s moveable. Will be great for a party.
