It was great and made ice quickly until last week when it would run but stopped making ice, which is awful to a person like me who hates drinking out of a cup with no ice. Just disappointing

So either get a protection plan or another brand. I argued with customer service for a couple weeks when I had the time. They gave me misinformation to be able to return my old unit to geek squad. Waste of my time and energy. Eventually did get a new one. It also lasted 6months.

I run cleaner and sanitize through it but too many parts stay dirty. Knowing how bad ice can be for food poisoing I wouldn't recommend it. Surprised they allow selling in the US.

If the unit gets too hot, the heatsink can melt through the water tube, which causes water to leak directly onto the fan, which makes it short and stop working entirely, not making ice, and leaking water everywhere. I've been through two of these and when the second one broke i decided to go with a different model. Additionally, it is very hard to clean the inside because it doesnt come apart, and it ends up with mineral deposits and stains in areas you cant reach.

Good idea, not great execution

It does not keep them chilled, let alone frozen. Meaning you must stand next to it and instantly transfer the cubes to the freezer as soon as they are dropped. Even so, the machine is warm so the cubes are instantly watery thus stick together in a clump in the freezer. Good idea, not great execution.

They were kind enough to replace it, the new one lasted 9 months. I only turned it on for a few hours in the evening. It is unfortunate, I expect an appliance to last longer. It's strange that it does not show up in my purchase history, but I have the email form Best Buy stating they received the order,

Was a bad decision. I was trying to save $$$ as I buy a lot of bagged ice for my various ailments. It is more of a boat anchor than ice maker.
