I bought a new TV I needed to connect an old DVD player and the RCA to HDMI converter works seamlessly to accomplish this. It was easy to connect and I don't even know it is there. I recommend the Insignis if anyone is wanting to connect an old DVD player to a new TV.

Effectively adds an RCA jack to a TV without one. Not great picture quality out of the composite video in general, but that's not the product's fault- it looks about the same as my other tvs with RCA jacks. Using it for a PS2 works great- basically lag-free, no interlace judder like other adapters I've tried. Looks just fine on a 65' OLED TV! One complaint is that you have to manually unplug it otherwise it stays on all the time, which means if you are using an HDMI switch or a TV that defaults to whatever is outputting a signal, it's going to default to this first. Not a huge issue though. Great option for retro gaming!

Picked this up after upgrading to an LG TV with an LG sound bar. Have an older dual BCR/ DVD player that works great. The converter was very easy to set up and worked the first try right out of the box. The picture and sound are great.

we were slow to switch our collection and wanted our new 4k OLED to play the old VHS tapes. Make sure you get the correct cord, but other than that, I was thoroughly impressed with the quick and easy set up and great quality of my old favorites.

Easy to install. Sounds great. This product help me to use my old CD player that was sitting in my garage, The sound still crip and clear.

Overall the product is good. There are moments that the visual feed is lost but you simply have to flip the switch back and forth or let it catch the signal again on its own. (When this occurs, which is far and few, its very quick.) Works great for the older game system or connection. (tried it on nes, snes, n64, playstation and playstation 2 and all worked well.)

I wasn't aware that this device even existed before purchasing the TV. The gaming device is RCA jacks/plugs so in order to connect the two this device was needed. Works as well as can be expected.

Does the job and does it well. I have tested it on two tvs and haven't had any issues, makes it very convenient to pull out the older consoles and get playing again.

This adapter works great. I bought a new tv and the new ones dont have jacks to hook up old vcr/dvd combos and I still wanted to use it so this adapter allows it. I thought it was alittle pricey, but it works.
