    Needed this RCA to HDMI for my older surround sound blueray dvd to connect to my new LG 65” hdmi input. Connection was easy, just needed to change the AUX on my dvd to a Digital Input setting, “D-In” and presto, working fine.

    Does what it's supposed to do. If you've got some older device that doesn't have HDMI outputs but still has some useful life left this may be just what you need to get it connected. Just don't expect stunning hi-definition picture quality.

    Be sure to buy the right converter. I was sold 2 HDMI to RCA, but nothing worked. I called Insignia and was told the converter only goes one way. Once I bought the RCA to HDMI, it worked great! The salesman at Best Buy told me I had 50-50 chance of it working, but you have 0 chance if you buy the wrong converter.
