    We had an old Sony camcorder with boxes of tapes we hadn't watched in years. This adapter allowed us to plug the camcorder directly into our 65" big screen via an HDMI port in order to watch our old family memories. Great product. Only downside was that it seemed a bit expensive for such a small, seemingly uncomplicated product.

    This converter was the answer to a problem we had. We have a large collection of DVD's & VHS tapes that we wanted to watch in our vacation home in VT. We bought a smart TV and a (hardly) used DVD/VHS combo player but couldn't connect w/o this converter. Installation was simple and now we can watch our favorite movies & ski movies.
