Was told there was a different way to hook my vcr up without using this unit. Was given the option to not use this unit. Wished this was explained in the store when I bought it.

For example to connect an old DVD player to an HD tv, you need to go from RCA to HDMI. Not all sales people are observant and may give you an HDMI to RCA. The two converters are not the same.

It connects just fine but the video quality just tv greatest. Don’t know if it’a this adapter or simply that a machine from the year 2000 with video games for back then will not look great on a new TV set. However, at least I can play my old games again.
