Worked just like I should have. It cost a little more than I would like to have paid but it still did the job.

I was very impressed with this video converter. It converts composite video and audio to an HDMI signal. One shouldn't expect an output as good as a native HDMI signal but the adapter did a very credible job. The video I converted was clear with good audio.

This works exactly as advertised. There are other products out there, but none of them work with the 1st generation Wii. Glad I found this.

I have an older receiver without HDMI, so I used this to hook up to a TV with HDMI. Worked perfect. In fact, picture result was clearer than I expected. Easy hook up.

Needed this to be able to use my old Pioneer 25CD player to my new Sony soundbar. My CDs have never sounded better. Very easy to use. Will probably convert some other items.

Works very well with an older VHS/DVD combo and a TV with HDMI inputs. Easy setup with good instructions.

Works well. I have a collection of older movies on laser disc (most of you don’t know what that is). Good quality sound and pictures in their day. Problem is, the pioneer LD player I have only has rca or s video (probably don’t know what that is either) outputs. Newer audio receivers won’t handle that type of hookup well. So stuck with watching the laser disks using the tv’s sound system or finding a way to run them through my receiver and my 7.2 speaker setup. Much better watching when the sound is loud and clear. This is a specialized item but a great solution for certain applications.

I longer have any tvs in my room with RCA jacks, as all I have are gaming monitors, so I had to figure out how I could hook up my Nintendo Wii to my Benq monitor. Searched around and this seemed like a reasonable option. It's low cost and very simple to use and set up. The only real downside is the black borders for a small viewing screen. It's a bit distracting at first, but the old-school games make me forget about it after a short while. Would be nice if there was a way to have the Wii display games that didn't look so pixelated, though I assume it will always be a problem given the high resolution of the monitor.

This product lets you connect a composite video cord from an older device (like a playstation 2) with an HDMI cable that goes into a newer TV that only has HDMI inputs. The product advertises that it can upconvert the image to a 720P or 1080P resolution. When I used this with my PS2, it did work, but it did not improve the image. When I set it to 1080P, the picture was blurry and the colors were washed out. When I set it to 720P, the picture and color was better (than it was on the 1080P setting) but the image was zoomed in a bit, so the full game screen could not be seen on the TV. Overall, I would only recommend this device if your TV does not have a composite input and you need to use it with a device that doesn't work with an HDMI cord. I would not recommend it if your TV has a composite input and you are just using the product to try to improve the image quality, as the TV's composite input actually works better, at least with a PS2.

I decided to invest in an OLED tv this year and didn't realise that they had no plugs for DVD players or older gaming consoles. At first I decided to get a converter off eBay but the quality wasn't great - and I decided to bite the bullet and buy this converter and it made SUCH a difference to the picture quality. As another reviewer said, invest in this and you won't be disappointed.

Bought a NES retro console and it only had RCA connections. I bought the RCA to HDMI converter and it work instantaneously, no problems.

Exactly what I needed to be able to use My Original Xbox Console again. Easy to connect and works great. : )
