Works, but works poorly

Unfortunately, whether it be poor upscaling on the part of the tv, or signal degradation from this particular converter, the console and subsequent game library is almost unplayable due to the awful picture quality. I know the OG xbox has now aged 20+ years, but connecting directly to an old television in the basement with standard RCA jacks was a significantly better experience. You'd be better off finding another converter, or if you can track one down, the official HD converter released back in the day that also allows for toslink 5.1 surround sound output.
