    I initially purchased this converter to allow me to play an original xbox on my 4k OLED tv in the living room. Unfortunately, whether it be poor upscaling on the part of the tv, or signal degradation from this particular converter, the console and subsequent game library is almost unplayable due to the awful picture quality. I know the OG xbox has now aged 20+ years, but connecting directly to an old television in the basement with standard RCA jacks was a significantly better experience. You'd be better off finding another converter, or if you can track one down, the official HD converter released back in the day that also allows for toslink 5.1 surround sound output.
