I never saw a picture nor was I able to hear a sound. I wrote a question and was given additional instructions ( turn progressive scan off). Still didn't work.

I followed the directions and it did not work. I had great hopes for this :-). I had to buy a new VCR that had HDMI on it so I could connect the two. :-(

Posted .Hello Wilson, thank you for taking the time to leave a quick review of the RCA to HDMI Converter. I am sorry to read that your are having issues with your converter, please help me by checking the following troubleshooting points:
-Check the connections and make sure that they are correct and secure.
-Make sure that the TV is set to the HDMI input, and the source device is
setup to output an RCA signal.
-Try the other position on the 720p/1080p switch on the converter box.
-Make sure that the RCA Cable or HDMI Cable is workable.

No signal seems to get through, and I haven't yet had the time to really troubleshoot why.

Doesn’t work to hook up a Nintendo or Sega genesis
