I was skeptical about spending $40 on this when there's cheaper alternatives online. However, I am completely satisfied with this and quite impressed. There's no latency from my gamecube and the graphics are great! I'm even playing on an 80inch tv, which is way too big and does blow out the picture a bit, but I can still easily see and play and I'm sure it would look stellar on a screen half the size lol.

This did the trick. Note, make sure the direction you need is correct. This unit does RCA --> HDMI, not the other way around.

I 'googled' and found a very good video and this was recommended. It worked perfectly and improved the sound quality (It worked before, but we really didn't have it connected properly)

I ordered a different brand off Amazon (I don't think BestBuy carried this one at the time) and it would work and then not work. I was losing my mind. This one is the one you want. We played Rock Band tonight rather than wiggling cords!

A great converter, not cheap

I purchased this with the TV since everything seems to be HDMI now. Both the video and audio quality of the converted signal is outstanding. However this is higher priced unit than many. The HDMI resolution is also selectable between 720 and 1024.
