After finding out that T.vs today (as recent as This year) do not have sockets For RCA plugs I was Devastated , as i still have a dubbing deck/combo player. this is the second time this has happened to me in 2 years . the last time was when I bought my computer. and found that it didn't come w/a cd drive. progress shouldn't preclude the past (take records as a example of of what comes around comes around again).

It connects the old style RCA connections to HDMI smart tv. It is a little overpriced. But I got it from best buy because they have returns in store, if defective. I have not had a chance to try it yet, But other reviews say it works well. It's a simple device.Just plug & play. so that's easy. so I can save my older devices & use them again.

Wii HDMI Converter

The only issue is that it is always on even when the Wii isn't so if you have auto switching HDMI sometimes it will switch to the Wii HDMI with a blank screen. All in all a good purchase.
