Easy to setup. I use it for a PlayStation 2, and it has good visual conversion. It will give you better picture quality than the original audio/video prongs. But don’t expect more than what it is getting it’s output from.

Got to play my ps2 on my main tv. Worked great and was easy to use.

I works and the quality of my dvd videos is very nice and my Xbox games with my new Samsung TV are just as good as 16 years ago.

Item works great and super easy to hook up. My only issue is that 64bit games, even when converted, look terrible on a 75" 4k TV. That is not this products fault. Perfect picture on my smaller tv.

I got this to connect my Wii to a TV without RCA ports and have had no issues! It needs to be plugged in, so make sure you have an extra outlet. Overall it has been perfect so far.

I have newer tv and some older devices like a vcr and nintendo that I use on occasion. This converter allows me to use those devices without hassle.

Great little device that let's me play gamecube on my 82 inch 4k tv. Easy to set up just plug and play. Little expensive for what it does but can't play without it.

I decided to invest in an OLED tv this year and didn't realise that they had no plugs for DVD players or older gaming consoles. At first I decided to get a converter off eBay but the quality wasn't great - and I decided to bite the bullet and buy this converter and it made SUCH a difference to the picture quality. As another reviewer said, invest in this and you won't be disappointed.

Works great as expected would only buy from Best but

Works fine. I only wish someone had told us in the beginning that this is what we needed in order to hook up our DVD player to our Sony Smart TV. The two Geek Squad guys who came to set up our TV gave us misinformation about what was needed in order for the DVD player to work on the TV - recommending the wrong product ( a 3 prong RCA color coded jack). It was only after going back to Best Buy that the guy who sold us the TV told us that we needed this HDMI Converter. Everything works fine now - TV, DVD player and even our old VHS player as well. I think Best Buy should make sure that when customers are purchasing a TV that the customer knows what is the right equipment that is needed for hooking up extra things like a DVD player. Don't trust everything the Geek Squad tells you - they don't know it all.

Worked like a charm. Needed this to connect a old school game emulator to my big screen. Worked without a hitch.

Works very well with an older VHS/DVD combo and a TV with HDMI inputs. Easy setup with good instructions.

I bought this for my grandmother’s house so she could hook up her VCR to a large HDTV and play all her family movies and old videos, and it worked great. Cons: It does need to be plugged into an outlet, and I haven’t gone side by side with other options to tell if the price point was justified ($40 was steep but I was committed to the project and that’s what Best Buy had). But again, it did its job well and I’m happy with it.

Bought this to get my N64 to work with my TV after a very frustrating afternoon of failed attempts. Was pleased to find this in stock. It worked perfectly and I'd recommend it to any old school game enthusiast. Only downside is that it requires its own power supply, so you have to plug it into an outlet. Kind of a pain to incorporate into an existing setup.
