Easy plug and play. Good video. I wish it would be in different packaging. Easy to mix up the hdmi to composite converter

I have a Magnavox VCR/TV combo, and the VCR will only play through an A/V input (it will play DVD's and over-the-air broadcasts through the HDMI output it has, however). This device will allow you to play your old VHS tapes again by plugging your old A/V cable into it, and then connect said device to another HDMI input on the back of your set. It also has a switch to allow you to up-convert the picture to 720p or 1080p (my set is a 4K model, so I was able to use the 1080p setting). The picture quality for over-the-air broadcasts is pretty decent, along with viewing DVD's. But be aware: watching a VHS tape with the help of this device will *not* sharpen the picture any. The picture looks more "analog" on VHS tapes, even before the current technology evolved. I bought this converter, though, because: (1) I can now directly dub a tape onto a disc and view the tape simultaneously; and (2) should anything go wrong with the main HDMI outlet I have the TV plugged into, this will serve as a backup. So for those reasons, this converter does *not* disappoint.

It's a very good converter. Able to hook up your RCA cables into an HDMI compatible unit. For instance we were able to hook up our Nintendo Wii into a brand new Samsung Smart TV which only has HDMI outlets. The only downside to this was the price. I feel the price was a bit much but all in all it's a very good product

Use it on my vehicle entertainment system, my setup consists on apple lighting to HDMI adapter, HDMI cable to the converter, converter to the tv screen on my car, works as intended perfect to jeep the kids entertained.

bought for a SNES connection to my HDMI TV. Works as advertised, unlike the cheap Amazon model I first purchased. Always trust BB.

The unit does what it is supposed to do! Nice have these things available so that you can continue to use good older equipment with your newer devices and not have to try to find replacements!!

I needed a converter to connect a VCR player to our new TV. This converter worked just as advertised. The salesman was very helpful in selecting the right converter for what I needed.

Works well with Nintendo Wii. Tried other cheaper converters and picture quality was terrible. This one fixed that issue. Definitely a good by if you need it for the Wii

I have a new LG TV and old DVD VCR player. This let me set up the new TV. Great product

Used it for my ps2 on my tv. Worked well, but the power cable it came with made plugging it in kind of complicated. Less of am issue with this product and more of an issue with the way the product functions in general.
