I hate having to go turn on a light in another room and then go back to turn off the light in the room I am in. I don't always have my phone on me and besides don't like running down the battery on it by using the flashlight. I carry one of these in my phone bag and also have one by my recliner and on my bed stand. I also use it to read if the power goes out.
