Product Manuals
A: Yes - very hard to open. It does slide out when you push the button well enough, which is difficult bcuz the button is recessed. Solution - comes off easily if you use a pencil eraser to push the button while sliding it off.
Q: Will this work with a kindle ereader?
A: The old readers may not have had a backlight so I suppose you could try it. I know the Nook wasn’t lit up originally. If your in the dark and can’t read the book it would work.
Q: Does this light have an on/off switch?
A: Yes. It turns on and off.
Q: I just bought an insignia reading light and can’t get it open to put battery in it. How?
A: I thought, I was the only one. I tried several days but couldn't open it. finally unscrewed the whole thing and was able to put the battery but the whole lamp part came out. I couldn't put it back, it is useless now. If you're still within the return period, I would recommend to do so.
